Position Available – Practice Assistant
Casual Position or Part-Time

We are seeking a unique individual who is;

Key responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the Business Manager, Practice Coordinator, Therapists and Volunteers
- Managing reception
- Liaising with Vision Counselling, community organisations and clients
- Managing Xero, Medicare and NDIS Claims
- Coordinating meetings
Qualifications and experience
Essential
- High level of organisational skills
- Strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly and professional telephone and personal manner
- Accurate record keeping ability and an eye for detail
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Work within Vision’s ethos and value system
- National Police Clearance
- Working With Children Check
- Must be available to work on Fridays and cover leave for other admin staff when required
Desirable
- Possess a minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative support role
- Knowledge and experience in setting up and using Medicare systems and Medicare Easyclaim
- Bookkeeping experience
Salary and benefits
The successful candidate will be casually employed by Vision Counselling and paid an hourly rate in accordance with their experience.
